Some great images and lots of fresh ideas that could come in very handy for the Year 11 exams coming up at the beginning of February. http://www.pinterest.com/nordenartdept Ellisons Estate Agents are celebrating 2014 with a “My Merton” Arts Competition open to all school children in the London Borough of Merton. The two winning categories, one for Junior schools and one for High schools will receive £4,000 each for their school! The winning individuals will also win a iPad mini and a day out at Chessington World of Adventures respectively.
Sean Purtill M.D of Ellisons believes that there will be some fantastic art produced and an exhibition of the best will be held at Cannizaro House. Pupils should enter a drawing or painting (no bigger than A4) which depicts something about Merton. the entries will be judged by a panel of three judges from the local art world/ the deadline for entries is 1st March 2014. All entries should be handed into the art office. All work submitted will be entered. Entries will be displayed on this blog and on Twitter. Here you will find the document we will use in the mock exam. Please feel free to print it as your research or use it to set the standard for your own independent work. You MUST prepare thoroughly for the mock exam. We will not be providing printing facilities or resources on the day so please speak to your art teacher if you need any assistance. We are very happy to help but please allow us the time to do so.
These additional classes have been put in place to support students aiming for an A or A*. It does not matter what your target or predicted grade is at the moment, come along and make the most of the support avaliable. Usually used at KS4 & 5, these sheets will help those at KS3 extend your written answers and widen your art vocabulary.
